You are not alone

Miscarriage & Baby Loss Support

A structured, compassionate coaching programme for individuals and couples navigating pregnancy loss, at your own pace, without pressure, without timelines.

"Nothing has gone wrong in how you're feeling, your mind and body are responding exactly as humans do after loss."

After a miscarriage, it can feel like your world has become very small, very heavy, and very fixed. The pain feels constant, and that is not a failing. It is simply where your awareness has been drawn.

You may find yourself asking "why did this happen?" or "could I have stopped it?" These are the mind's attempts to turn unbearable uncertainty into something manageable, a way of trying to protect you, even when there are no answers to be found.

If you and your partner are grieving differently right now, that is completely normal too. There is no single right way to carry this.

1 in 4 pregnancies end in miscarriage. Yet so many people are left to grieve quietly, feeling as though they should be over it by now, or that their loss wasn't "big enough" to warrant this much pain.

It was. You are not alone.

4 ways to access support, from free to a personal bespoke program

Your grief is not
something to fix

What This Programme Does (and Doesn't Do)

This programme does not try to rush you through your grief, reframe it away, or tell you to look on the bright side. Instead, it gently helps you understand your experience, so that over time, other parts of life can begin to exist alongside it.

What this programme gently supports you to do:

Understand your experience Why you feel the way you do — and why that makes complete sense. Making sense of your grief responses, reducing shame, and feeling less alone in what you're carrying.

Reconnect with your partner Miscarriage affects two people differently, and that difference can create distance neither of you intended. This programme helps reduce misunderstanding and rebuild safety between you.

Work with your emotions, not against them Not pushing feelings away. Not being overwhelmed by them. Learning to hold what is hard without it holding you still.

Allow life to move again Without pressure. Without timelines. Without "moving on" language. Moving forward — while still carrying what matters.

“Your thoughts are like the artist's brush. They create a personal picture of the reality you live in” — Sydney Banks

A structured pathway, not a generic process

The three things behind how it works

The programme is grounded in three quiet but powerful ideas from the philosopher Sydney Banks: Mind, Consciousness, and Thought.

Mind — there are always more possibilities than grief can show you

Consciousness — what you notice becomes your experience

Thought — the mind tries to make sense of what happened

The GROWTH journey

The programme moves through six stages. Each one has its own question, and its own invitation for where you might be.

G — Grounding: Creating safety in the storm

R — Reflecting: Understanding your experience gently

O — Organising: Making sense of the overwhelm

W — Widening: Allowing new possibilities without pressure

T — Translating: Living with compassion, day by day

H — Horizons: Moving forward differently

The overall journey in its simplest form

Safety → Understanding → Making Sense → Gentle Expansion → Compassionate Living → Reconnection

Each stage has been thoughtfully redesigned to meet the specific emotional landscape of grief after pregnancy loss, drawing on principles of nervous system regulation, trauma-informed practice, and self-compassion, rather than traditional goal-setting or personal development models.

This is not a generic grief programme. It is a structured, psychologically grounded approach built by a qualified coach with specialist training in exactly this area.

Hi, I'm Sarah, a miscarriage and baby loss support coach based in Lincolnshire, UK.

Before coaching, my career was rooted in education. I spent over 20 years as a teacher and educator, working with all kinds of learners; different brains, different needs, different ways of making sense of the world.

That experience gave me something no qualification alone can: a deep, practical understanding of how people learn, process, and change.

My academic background spans a degree in Biotechnology, a Diploma in the Physical World, and a Master's in Teaching and Leadership, which means I bring both scientific grounding and a genuine passion for human development to everything I do.

When I work with someone through grief, I'm not just drawing on coaching frameworks. I'm drawing on two decades of sitting alongside people at their most uncertain, helping them find their footing again.

I work with individuals and couples who are navigating pregnancy loss and want structured, compassionate support to help them understand their experience and gently move forward.

My coaching qualifications include:

  • Master of NLP

  • Master of Coaching

  • Level 2 Counselling

  • Counselling Diploma

  • CBT Diploma

  • ADHD Coach

  • Neuroscience Coach

  • Positive Psychology certification

  • Integrative Functional Medicine Certification

  • Currently progressing toward ICF (International Coaching Federation) accreditation

My coaching approach is warm, direct, and grounded, drawing on neuroscience, evidence-based grief frameworks, and genuine human compassion. You will feel supported and never judged. And you will never be pushed to feel something you don't, or to be somewhere you're not.

Because this isn't about becoming someone else after loss. It's about learning how to be you, carrying what you carry, and still finding a way forward.
